Making an adoption plan for your child is a brave decision. Watch this video to learn more about open adoption. We will be glad to answer any questions you have about your unplanned pregnancy or the adoption process.
An Adoption Story
God worked through Christian Family Services of the Midwest to create our family through the miracle of adoption. Thanks to CFS, we have not one, not two, but three amazing adoption stories…and three amazing sons.
It is difficult to put into words the way adoption has touched our lives. The joy of parenting these three boys, knowing they are gifts from the Lord and gifts from our birthfamilies, is impossible to measure. We have been blessed to have a relationship with our birthfamilies and have seen how God has worked in their lives, as well as in ours, to accomplish His purposes. Through these relationships, we have seen how God in His sovereignty and love can bring two broken situations together – a woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and a couple battling infertility – and weave our lives together in such a way so that both parties can experience His healing, grace and peace.
Christian Family Services - Why We Are Here
Serving Kansas and Missouri, we are here to help you through an unplanned pregnancy, providing adoption information/services during tough personal times. We also offer a wide range of counseling services to support individuals and families.
Christian Family Services of the Midwest is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, family service organization governed and staffed by those who honor the sanctity of all human life. We exist to provide services to help people who struggle with personal crises and troubled relationships and to enhance the quality of family life. We have been serving the Kansas City metropolitan area since 1982.
The Council on Accreditation (COA), a national accrediting entity designated by the US Department of State to provide Hague Accreditation and Approval, invites the public to provide comment on intercountry adoption service providers seeking Hague Accreditation, Approval or Renewal. You are invited to provide comments through COA’s website.
